International Pitch Contest “Hack Award 2021(Online)” Now Accepting Applications *Deadline Oct. 30th
We are looking for speakers for the international pitch contest "Hack Award 2021 (online)" to be held on February 18, 2021 (Thursday). After the following day, business meetings with large companies and others in the Kansai region will be held. There is still time to apply, so please contact us if you are interested.
The International Innovation Conference Hack Osaka Executive Committee (comprised of the City of Osaka, the Urban Vitality Institute, and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Osaka Headquarters) will hold the International Innovation Conference "Hack Osaka 2021" online on February 18, 2021 (Thursday).
The International Pitch Contest will be held at the conference, and speakers are being sought until Thursday, November 5. We are looking forward to receiving applications from domestic and international startups in the fields of smart city, health tech, and food tech under the theme of "Future Society (a society that has achieved a prosperous, secure, and sustainable lifestyle).
Hack Osaka is an international conference that showcases global innovation trends and the results of innovations originating in Osaka, and has been held once a year since 2013; the theme of this 8th edition is "How Osaka/Kansai can leverage its strengths and contribute to the world in the era of the new normal. The Hack Osaka Movement, in which entrepreneurs, investors, large corporations, students, and other players play key roles in the ecosystem and are organically connected, will be introduced to the world, and the entrepreneurs born in Osaka and university seeds in the Kansai region will be introduced to young people and students to foster their entrepreneurial spirit. The Hack Osaka Movement will also introduce entrepreneurs born in Osaka and seeds from Kansai universities to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among young people and students, and expand the network of innovation around the world.
