In cooperation with the Consulate-General of Thailand in Osaka and the National Innovation Agency (NIA) of Thailand, we held an event to introduce Thai and Japanese startups with advanced technologies. In the first part of the event, seven startups from Thailand and Japan gave pitches in English to an audience of about 50 people, including members of Thai conglomerates. In the second part of the event, business meetings were held among the companies that had been invited for interviews in advance, and the possibility of future collaboration was discussed. Some of the companies immediately set the next web conference for a week later, and we expect that this will lead to the creation of new businesses in the future. Through such efforts, the Kankeiren ABC Platform hopes to provide opportunities for new business creation between ASEAN and Japanese companies.
