Held the establishment ceremony and the first general meeting of the Roundtable for the Promotion of Food Diversity
On Monday, December 13, the "Roundtable on Promoting Food Diversity" was held in a hybrid format at the Osaka International Convention Center, with more than 100 participants from Japan and abroad.
The Roundtable was established as part of the efforts of the Tourism Subcommittee of the Asia Business Creation Platform (ABC Platform) to create an environment where a wide variety of people, including Muslims and vegans, can enjoy food with peace of mind in anticipation of the end of the new coronavirus infection.
The committee consists of 25 domestic and international companies and organizations in the travel industry and chambers of commerce and industry. The Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia and National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, both of which are members of the ABC Platform, also participate in the committee. JTB and YRKand were appointed chairpersons.
At the inauguration ceremony, food-related experts gave presentations on food business, and member companies and organizations expressed their expectations and opinions on the Round Table.
Through the Round Table, we will continue to create specific food-related businesses and improve the environment.
