May 20 Seminar for Acceptance of "Technical Intern Trainees for Nursing Care" was held.
With the shortage of nursing care personnel becoming a serious issue in Japan, last August the Medical/Nursing Care Subcommittee of the Kansai Economic Federation's ABC Platform released a "Plan for Accepting Foreign Nationals - Nursing Care Technical Interns" in order to increase the acceptance of nursing care personnel from Southeast Asian countries.
This seminar provided information on issues common to all nursing care facilities interested in hiring and utilizing foreign human resources.
