On 7/13, we visited Sanyo Corporation in Tondabayashi.

Sanyo Co., Ltd. is dedicated to cotton swabs and has a desire to "create something that doesn't exist in the world.

It makes using cotton swabs fun. The sense of fun is wonderful.

The company is also active in hiring foreigners, and currently has 23 Vietnamese technical intern trainees, 21 of whom are women!
Even after the three-year training period is over, all of them wish to extend their training for another two years.
In some cases, those who wish to work further are hired at the Vietnamese factory.
This story alone shows how attractive Sanyo is to foreigners.
We learned a lot just by listening to the story,
There were many points where I felt that the attention to detail has increased the satisfaction level of foreign employees.


■Be careful when you are paying attention to foreigners!
If you get angry in public, they tend to quit.
They have pride, so if you get angry with them, it is important to give them individual and clear reasons.
They can confirm if they understood by asking them to recite it back to you.

■Advice on travel destinations at regular study meetings?
In the study sessions, students learn not only about Japanese language, but also about destinations they should visit and history.
If they wish, they can accompany the students on mountain climbing trips. Fuji.
Communication is very important.
I think these study sessions that foreigners enjoy may lead to their enjoyment as well.
Video manuals use line-of-sight cameras!
The eye camera captures the work of veteran employees. The video can also be used as a manual for foreigners, killing two birds with one stone!

Visit company housing once a week as in-house volunteers!
In-house volunteers can visit company housing to check on the living and eating conditions of employees to get a better grasp of their situation. When we go around at night, we are sometimes asked to sample food from each room. This is another way to communicate with employees!

We also put a lot of thought into the cafeteria menu.
They discussed what kind of menu they would like! We hear stories of people changing jobs because the food in the cafeteria is not good enough.
How is that possible? It may sound like "Is that really possible? I hear that people sometimes take up the offer of a new job because they don't like the food in the cafeteria.
There were many surprises during this visit.
As Japanese and foreigners, we have different ways of thinking, cultures, and lifestyles.
Is a regular visit too much? You may feel that regular visits are too much, but on the contrary,
But, on the contrary, for those who live alone in Japan, visiting them gives them peace of mind and leads to communication,

When the trainees return to Vietnam after their internship, they ask, "Can I visit you next time I come to Japan?
