TJIC looking to foster cooperation in various fields with Japanese partners
The Thai-Japanese Industrial Cooperation Institute (TJIC) is a center of the Federation of Thai Industries in fostering cooperation in promoting trade and investment, exchange economic information with the Japanese government and private sectors, as well as pushing various issues that will facilitate further economic development of the two countries. It will also serve as a platform to build business networks, a place for discussion between the public and private sectors of both countries, and a mechanism to drive Thailand 4.0, develop S-curve and New S-Curve industry in order to increase the competitiveness of Thailand and build cooperation in the development of technical engineering personnel to support the Industry 4.0 policy and the
S-Curve industry fulfilling the 20-year national strategy of Thailand.
TJIC is working with Kansai partners to encourage the development in 4 key areas;
1. Building a strong network between the Federation of Thai Industries and the Japanese counterparts at the both national level and prefectural level
2. Promote and Explore trade, investment, and relocation of production
3. Supporting the development of human resource to cope with industrial demand
4. Encouraging transfer of Technology and expertise, especially in the fields of food and agriculture
