The ABC Platform 3rd General Meeting held
On Monday, March 4, 2024, Kansai Economic Federation (Kankeiren) and Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN; Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia) jointly held the 3rd General Meeting of the Asian Business Creation Platform (ABC Platform) in Jakarta.
From Kankeiren, Mr. Masayoshi Matsumoto, President of Kankeiren, Mr. Hiroyuki Suzuki, Chairperson of the International Committee of Kankeiren, Mr. Nobuhiro Yoshida, Chairperson of Business-in-Asia Committee of Kankeiren, and other related persons participated. Meanwhile, representatives and companies from the economic organizations of the ASEAN countries that make up the ABC platform participated, bringing the total number of participants to approximately 60.
The meeting included 1) activities reports of the seven thematic working groups, 2) presentations by companies participating in the ABC CHALLENGE Support Program, a business support program for ASEAN companies interested in collaborating with Japanese companies or entering the Japanese market.
Based on the results of these activities, the participants also exchanged opinions on how to further revitalize the ABC Platform.
The ABC Platform will continue to work with economic organizations in its eight member countries to create and expand two-way business between Asia and Japan.
