A vertical conveyor system is a dedicated conveyor system for cargo that has a vertical conveyor route and consists of a vertical conveyor section (the main body of a vertical conveyor machine) equipped with a mechanism to raise and lower the cargo receiving section and a horizontal conveyor section (an in/out conveyor or in/out device) equipped with an in/out mechanism to automatically load and unload cargo into and from the cargo receiving section. These are automatically controlled to form an integrated conveyor system as a whole.
Since this is a conveying machine exclusively for cargo, no human being can ever ride on it.
